DENNISON-Twin City Hospital Medical Staff has donated a total of $3,250 to the newly formed Twin City Hospital Foundation to show their support of the Foundation's mission "to support Twin City Hospital and other healthcare purposes in the Twin City Hospital service area."
An additional $500 was contributed to the Twin City Hospital Foundation from the Verizon Foundation in recognition of Hospital board member Kari Lu Bryan's 100 hours of volunteer service to the organization in the year 2001. Bryan is a resident of Dennison.
Governed by a 15 member volunteer Board of Directors, the Twin City Hospital Foundation is a charitable 501(c)3 organization that was founded in September 2001. The foundation works to raise funds via lifetime contributions, long-term contributions and contributions through estate planning and wills. All monetary gifts to the foundation are used to help purchase healthcare equipment and aid toward building and program costs for Twin City Hospital and other Twin City Hospital area healthcare entities.
"We are pleased to receive the generous support of the Twin City Hospital Medical Staff and the Verizon Foundation and are looking forward to the continued growth of the Twin City Hospital Foundation," remarked Blair Hillyer, Twin City Hospital Foundation President.
