If your health insurance plan does not include Twin City Hospital, can you still come to Twin City Hospital without paying penalties in the form of deductibles or co-pays?  Yes, you certainly can through our Twin City Preferred Program.

 

Twin City Hospital and most of its affiliate companies have arranged with your physician to participate in our “Twin City Preferred Program.”  Once we determine that you are eligible for this program, we guarantee you won’t pay any more to come to Twin City Hospital than you would for one of the hospitals that is included in your health plan.

 

 

What the Program Covers

 

From CT Scans to MRIs, from having an operation to having an ultrasound, Twin City Hospital’s Twin City Preferred Program covers a wide spectrum of healthcare services.  Such services include the following (not an all-inclusive list):

 

• Twin City Medical Group Physicians
• Medical Services
• Surgical Procedures
• Diagnostic Procedures
• Therapy Services
• Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation
• Sleep Studies

 

The program covers all ancillary services performed at Twin City Hospital.  For example, the Twin City Preferred Program covers any inpatient stays or outpatient tests such as stress tests, mammograms and lab work.

 

 

Eligibility

 

The “Twin City Preferred” cost waiver program applies to most commercial insurance plans that do not include Twin City Hospital as an “approved” provider.  There are some exceptions: Medicare beneficiaries, Medicaid beneficiaries, Individuals covered by an HMO plan with no out-of-network benefits, Individuals covered by a health plan for federal employees, Worker’s Compensation claims, Uninsured patients (Twin City Hospital cares for these patients through other programs) and Individuals covered by a health plan that already has access to Twin City Hospital.

 

 

Applying is EASY:

 

Ask your physician’s office to fax our “Twin City Preferred” patient information form to Twin City Hospital’s “Twin City Preferred” operations staff.  We will determine if you are approved and notify you or your physician by telephone or in writing.  A guarantee letter will then be mailed to your home confirming what charges you will be responsible to pay.
