| Donations to Twin City Hospital |

Twin City Hospital is a 25 bed, not-for-profit Hospital, and we rely on the financial support of businesses and individuals to help us continue to provide quality care in our rural communities. There are many opportunities for kind-hearted philanthropists who wish to give to the hospital. All donations are tax-deductible to the amount allowable by the law. You may choose to donate funds in any of the following areas:
- Capital Equipment Fund: This fund was developed to raise money for new medical equipment for various hospital departments. A donation to this fund can either be given to the purchase of general equipment, or it can be donated toward the purchase of equipment in a specific department. Donations can be made at any time to this fund.
- New Medical Center Building Project: In order to better serve our communities, Twin City Hospital announced August 15th, 2005, a $10 million expansion project to the campus. The new 27,000 square foot Medical Center will include all out-patient services to include a new Emergency Services Department, and new Cardio-Pulmonary, Imaging, Laboratory, and Surgery Departments. The construction project is expected to begin this Fall 2006 with a completion of March 2008. The Capital Campaign Committee has currently raised in donations and pledges over $2.9 million. Room Sponsorships are currently the main focus of fundraising with rooms ranging from $2,000 to entire departments at $250,000. If you'd like to make a donation or sponsor a room in perpetuity, please contact Rick Rieger, Director of Development at (740) 922-7450 x2345 for the rooms still available.
- Development Council Giving Campaign: Developed to aid in the collection of funds for new hospital equipment, this campaign is conducted every Fall until the end of Winter. The Campaign is a project of the Twin City Hospital Development Council (which is a volunteer group of community business members). A donation to this campaign can be given at any time.
- Memorial Fund: Individuals and/or businesses can choose to honor one of their friends, co-workers, or loved ones by donating to the Twin City Memorial Fund.
- Planned Giving: Those who wish to commit to a planned giving program may do so by making individual arrangements with the hospital.
- Twin City Hospital Foundation: This non-profit foundation was founded in September 2001 to achieve its primary purpose "to support Twin City Hospital and other healthcare purposes in the Twin City Hospital service area." Foundation members work to raise funds via lifetime contributions, long-term contributions and contributions through estate planning and wills. Funds received by the foundation will be expended according to its primary purpose. The Foundation does not plan to take the place of other hospital fundraising support groups. - Donations of Vehicles and Property: Donations of vehicles and property can be made to Twin City Hospital at any time. Such donations are generally sold or raffled to raise funds for Hospital equipment needs.
Any donation to Twin City Hospital is greatly appreciated and will be recognized. All donations are tax deductible. The help of philanthropists like you assures that the hospital will be able to provide the latest technology and the highest quality of care to you and your loved ones.
